About Quiz Dating - Speed Dating with a
Quiz!
Quiz Dating© is a brand new
concept in dating events and is exclusive to Original Dating. Quiz Dating is
a speed dating event and a quiz all rolled into one. Confused? You shouldn't
be, it's really very simple, lots of fun and a great way to meet new people
without the pressure of one-on-one speed dating.
What's the format for Quiz Dating?
First of all, ladies, you're divided into teams of around 3 girls per team. You are then seated
and remain at the same table for the duration of the quiz. Gents, you are
also divided into groups of 3 and your group is allocated a ladies team to join for the
first round of the quiz (normally about five questions). Guys, you are the
ladies' quiz helpers. The hired help for the ladies if you like..
The quiz begins and the
first few questions are called just like a normal quiz night. As you ponder
the answers you of course get to chat with and get to know your new team
mates as a group. Now, remember this is an Original quiz so it's bound to
have a twist!
At the end of the first round the guys teams then move on to the next table
in order and the quiz normally continues like this for 4 rounds until all
the guys have met all the girls.
Now, as this is an Original Dating quiz
you get to use our unique online matching system after the event so you will
need to make a note of the people you liked after each round.
The winning ladies team will then be awarded their prize and get to share it
with the male team they think helped them the most!
How many people take park?
Normally about 40 people. It's an equal male/female split.
How long do the events last?
Quiz dating events last approximately two hours.
Trust us, it flies by! After the event you will have met loads of new people so most people stay on afterwards and
get to know everyone better.
Is there online matching?
Naturally! You need to keep note of the people you like on your scorecard
and our system will give you the email address of any mutual matches the day
after the event.
What type of questions will you ask?
All rounds will consist of a mixture of question types including general
knowledge, sports, history, current affairs and pot luck.
If the guys are
moving teams surely there will be some cheating?
No chance!
There's no chance of
cheating as your answer papers are collected after each round of questions
and before the guys move tables.
How long does each
round take?
Each 5 question round will take around 20 minutes. Plenty of time to chat
and get to know your each quiz team! What happens after the event?
This is the time for you to compile your ticks and make up your mind about the people you have met during the evening. Most people tend to stay at the venue,
have a couple more drinks and continue chatting after the event has finished. The following day you simply login to our website, enter your ticks and view your matches! Can my company sponsor your events?
