  I loved it very nice people but too many males and I missed the speed dating part which I did not know about I'm very happy to see where this goes but was good but I would of liked more introduction to females but all good .

  Helpful hosts- especially Joshua. Stylish and central venue. Good range of people. However, speed dating could have lasted a bit longer overall- more dates. There were far more men than women in the speed dating.

  I’ve been to 3 of these events and I think this venue was the best I’ve seen. Very big , comfortable. I still think these events should start earlier ! Some attendees were travelling in from outside London and particularly for that crowd, I think you should start earlier so there are no problems with end of evening transport and trains.

  Really enjoyed the event! It’s a fantastic way to meet new people, and the lock-and-key idea is a brilliant icebreaker to get conversations going. It was so refreshing to be in a room where everyone was engaged and talking to each other. I met and spoke to more people at this event than I would on a typical night out with friends. While I didn’t meet anyone I was romantically interested in, I did make some great new friends.

  The host from California was definitely the best thing about this event! Is he single? A lot of men at this event were not assertive at all,which can be quite off putting they seemed to not understand that the lock and key party is about starting a conversation not just trying to win a prize. Also for the speed dating the long benches do not work,they do not make you feel comfortable. One final point all guests should have a conversational level of English, one guest certainly did not which makes it very difficult to interact The venue overall was very nice

HOW IT WORKS

Arrive from about 7pm and grab a drink — our host will check you in and hand you a scorecard. Once everyone's settled, the host explains the format and the dating begins: four to five minutes per date, girls seated, guys rotating, with a 15-minute breather at half time to top up your glass and compare notes.

After each date you make a quick private note: yes, no, or friend. Nobody sees your choices on the night — that's the point. When you get there

Doors open around 30 minutes before the start time on your ticket — arriving early gives you time to grab a drink, find your feet and say hello to your host, who'll check you in and get you set up.
