It's autumn already and I can't help but ask myself, did we even have summer? There must have been one week back in July, you know the one I'm talking about, it was a heat wave that lasted a good 4 or 5 days. Apart from that, all this summer has been good for was proving climate change is real and is most definitely happening now. Well there's no point dwelling on the past, with the cold months round the corner and the sun setting before we get back from work, we are all looking for someone to snuggle up to. What better way to find a date than our Autumn Lock & Key Party and only one week away!
What to expect at our Autumn Lock & Key Party?
At our parties we have around 250 singles, evenly split 50:50, Male and Female. Our main ice breaker is our Lock & Key. This is where the Ladies receive a padlock on arrival and the Gents will get two keys. The idea behind this icebreaker is to give you an 'in' so to speak. Everyone at the event is of course single and here to meet new people, so the lock & key gives you that opening line, takes the pressure off making the first move and gets the ball rolling.
If the key opens the padlock that is what we call a match and you take the winning combination to the hosts, where you will get a raffle ticket and another lock & key so you can continue matching. The more people you speak to the more matches you make and the more raffle tickets you will collect. We then hold a raffle towards the end of the night for some mystery prizes.
The best thing about our parties is there's no rush, it's not speed dating so you can take your time to chat and flirt without having to rush onto the next date. You are free to mingle and flirt your way round the room at your own pace. Of course it’s a Saturday night and it is a party, so its great fun! It's a chance to let your hair down and enjoy yourself. Imagine being at a top London bar where everyone is single and here for the same reason, well that’s exactly what it's like.
