There's a variety of ways to meet someone in these modern times, anything from down the pub to dating apps, higher education to the work place and of course speed dating.
The beauty of speed dating is that everyone who goes is going for the same reason and this creates a friendly and social environment. An environment where people can meet one another without the pressures of online dating and truly connect in person. This in turn results in opportunities for strong and long lasting relationships, which is exactly what has happened for Toby and Amy.
On Monday morning we received an email from Toby thanking us for bringing them together and it really is music to our ears.

I'm very happy to share with you all, that Toby and Amy, after meeting at our St Paul's speed dating event back in 2012, are celebrating their third wedding anniversary. Not only are they celebrating 3 years of marriage but they also have a beautiful 16 month old.
From everyone here at Original Dating, we wish them all the very best for the future.
One of the many things I love about this job is to hear success stories from our events and I imagine there's not too many professions where the job satisfaction is so high - it brings a smile to my face just writing about it.
