Thousands of people move to London every year but let’s face it, it’s hard to meet new people. Lots of people have asked us if we would organise speed dating events designed just for Expats or people that have newly arrived in the city. As London’s leading speed dating organiser we’re well placed to do this but we’re keen to discover the level of interest before we plan our first event.

Expat speed dating isn’t currently taking place in London. As major speed dating organisers we have a number of venues in Central London that are on standby for such an event - everything is ready for our first EXPAT Speed Dating event – we just need to know we’ve got enough people would like to take part.
Here’s a brief description of what to expect at an Expat speed dating event.
Before the event
Before the event you’ll need to book a ticket for the event. We can’t sell tickets on the door as we need to balance the number of male and female participants at each event. Simply book online. To be informed of our first event please fill out the form above.
On the day of the event
We’ll send you a confirmation email including login details for our website. At this point it a good it’s a good idea to upload a picture to our website so people can see you on our matching system. Because our events are all about meeting people in real life your profile is only ever shown to people you meet at our events.
Arrival
Please arrive early for your chosen event. The events begin at 7.30pm so give yourself time to get to the venue ahead of the start. It’s always better to have time to grab a drink before the event begins. We choose centrally located venues close to good transit links.
How the event works
On arrival you will be allocated a starting position and your first date will begin. Then you’ll have four around minutes to meet and chat to your first date and decide if you want to see them again. It might sound a little daunting but we find speed daters are always nice people and you’ll soon get used to the short time you have with each person. Most people find it’s enough to get a good first impression. Our host will notify you when the date is over and it’s at this point guys move on to the next girls’ table and the next date will begin. You’ll probably meet around 15-20 people at this event so there’s a good chance you’ll meet someone you want to see again.
The event continues on like this until everyone has met each other. We’ll have a break half way through. Speed Dating can be quite thirsty work but the bar is on hand for this.
After the event
Once you have met everyone the event is over but most people stay on and chat to the other daters.
The next day
The following morning we’ll send you an email when the event is open for matching. You’ll login to our website and you’ll be able to select everyone you like and want to see again.
Once everyone has entered their selections this you’ll be able to view who you matched with on the night and send them messages via out site to arrange more dates! Simple.
