Basingstoke – stockade of Basa’s people (thank you Wikipedia) began life as a Neolithic camp site circa 3000 BC apparently. You could say it’s changed a little. Occasionally, and unkindly, referred to as doughnut city due the predominance of roundabouts we think its high time people got to know the most positive aspects of this old market town.
It’s a significant contributor to the national economy and houses the UK and European headquarters of some of the world’s biggest organisations. Which means lots of professionals. Lots of young professionals. Most importantly lots of young single professionals. And with a population of around 70, 000 we may even go so far as to say lots and lots of young single professionals.
So the question arises, what does the young, single, professional Basingstokian do in order to meet other single folk? That’s where we come in.
