I’m going to make a prediction. The weather is going to get much better. Okay this may be as vague as a professional psychics claims and appear overly optimistic but we could all do with a bit more optimism.
So, emboldened by your stunned silence I’m going to predict more precisely that Saturday May 18th is going to be a sunny 28 degrees during the afternoon cooling to a calm 17 as the sun sets.
How do I know this? Because we’re holding Rock The Boat, our first boat party of the summer season on that day and we know people who know people. And if you don’t believe me I have proof. Last year our Jubilee boat party took place a week before the actual jubilee and was bathed in 26 degree sunshine. The Queen got all the rain.
Not laughing now are you. Unless it’s with joy.
I’ll be honest with, when I first started hosting dating events my first boat party was a Hawaiian themed jaunt. I thought it was going to be the cheesiest thing I’d ever seen. I can happily report it was one of the most fun parties I’ve ever been to which may explain why they are so popular. Tickets disappear ridiculously quickly which is why we’re letting you know now.
If you haven’t been to one of our boat parties before you can expect Rock The Boat to be one of the best events of the year. Seriously.
250 single Londoners sailing the Thames, a fantastic live band, mini speed date try outs, a lock & key ice breaker replete with top notch prizes AND there may even be cake!
Rock the Boat will take in the sights of course, from Westminster, out past The Shard, Tower of London & London Bridge, Docklands and that big tent thing before heading back into town.
And if you’re new to lock and key, it’s very simple. Guys get a key, girls get a lock. Mingle, chat, flirt and see if you’re an unlockable match. If you are, come to us and enter the lucky dip prize draw. Win or not, you both get another lock and key and off you go again until all the prizes are gone. It’s the perfect icebreaker and a great way to get over any residual nervousness you may be feeling.
Be warned, all our boat parties sell out really quickly, so get on the website, get booking, tell your friends, dust off your dancing shoes, break out the sun cream and come Rock The Boat with us!
Rock The Boat Party Saturday May 18th 2pm-5pm and probably an after party somewhere.
Check out some pictures of a previous event. Looks fun eh?
