The Pre-Christmas Dating Rush

Quite rightly, most normal people groan when they hear mention of Christmas in November. We, on the other hand, like most event companies, plan our schedules in advance meaning that we’ve been talking about Christmas events since the Summer. Rest assured, Christmas talk in June is much more depressing than it is in November.

Wishing time away is an occupational hazard of this game and it’s something you just have to get used to. As I write, my planning mind is somewhere between Valentine’s Day (February 14th) and late Spring. It’s just the way things have to be if we’re going to get the right venue for the right event at the right time. It’s a relentless job but someone has to do it.

The festive month of December is actually a pretty quiet time for dating events. Once we’ve thrown our big Christmas party (Watch this space for details) we don’t see a huge demand and events tail off until the New Year. People are busy catching up with friends and attending Christmas parties. For most people thoughts of dating seem to go out of the window throughout the festive period.

We rather enjoy the opportunity to take stock and plan for the new year and possibly enjoy the odd long lunch ourselves.

However, this quiet time is neatly bookended by two periods of frantic busyness, one of which we find ourselves in now. From mid-October to early December our events are normally at their fullest.

The pre and post-Christmas rushes are a great time to take part in any of our events. Any event you choose to take part in now will normally be full the rafters with people. What with dating being a numbers game, this time of year you’ll certainly see the numbers stacked in your favour.

Why not check out what’s coming up and book an event now and take advantage of the pre-Christmas dating rush!
