The wait is almost over!
We’re super excited to announce that our in-person speed dating events and parties are back from the week commencing June 21st.
When the pandemic first stated 14 or so months ago, we quickly realised that it was going to be a long and rocky road to recovery for those of us in the live events business. Whist we swiftly moved our business online to provide a stop gap - the essence of what we do lies in bringing people physically together in the same room and there's no real substitute for that.
When the government’s roadmap out of lockdown was announced at the beginning of the year it became clear that, whilst we would be one of the first industries to be closed we would also to be one of the last to be allowed back.
But, here we are - the end is in sight and we are planning to be back in just a few weeks. Our events begin with a week of speed dating events across London followed by a lock and key party on Saturday June 26 at The Anthologist. Our nationwide programme resumes later in the month.
It has been a long slog and, whilst we do not agree with the guidance, we are stuck with it. We are a professional, legitimate business and as such we have committed to bringing our nationwide events programme back from June. One thing can be guaranteed – they will be better than ever before.
