In an ideal world we’d probably all like to have the day off after we go on a date.
Another success story, in today!
So where is good to watch the footy in London?
After the recent Bank Holiday, I found myself nursing a hangover from hell and found myself needing some help in the form of Haribo, Irn Bru and Netflix.
Is it just me or does it seem like Hollywood has run out of inspiration?
When it comes to British pastimes, going down the pub has to be right up there with the most popular. And what’s better than going to one pub? Going to 2,3 or even 6 pubs of course.
I was talking to someone the other night at one of our events. They had never been speed dating before so I reassured them they were in for a great night and I said without hesitation that its THE best way to meet people.
London has a lot to offer, I mean there are hundreds of bars, pubs and pop-ups all over that each have their own well thought out theme, environment or quirk. Of course, these places always make for a great date idea but it’s a little predictable even if it is a bit different or unique.
London, the big smoke, corporate and banking capital of the UK but also the hub of creative, full of theatre, music and art. A center of excellence in practically any field you care to mention.
Netflix are always adding new films but that doesn’t mean they will all be recent releases. I for one am guilty of not watching films if they’re in black in white or just look a bit dated, especially action films or anything you would expect to have special effects.
Another bank holiday is upon us, its been too long since we had what felt like at least four in the space of six weeks. I think we all deserve one as well! I’m sure we’ve all been working hard when its been sunny outside and we’ve been stuck inside (for that one week it was actually nice weather).
In case you missed our boat party this year I’m going to give you a quick run down including some behind the scenes info of our best boat party to date.
When it comes to film nothing beats watching a film on the big screen. Nothing. We all love all the loud explosions and eating popcorn with a friend (or date) and watching the drama unfold in front of our eyes as we suspend our disbelief that these larger than life characters played by these incredibly perfect millionaires tell us a heart wrenching and compelling story.
With the sun is shining who really wants to be inside? Not me! Where better to enjoy the sunshine than a beer garden? Now, many of London’s pubs have a garden but not all gardens are created equal. Here’s one that I’m very I’m happy to recommend. I give you The People’s Park Tavern.
In this concrete jungle we call London, there’s tons of pubs and beer gardens but we can’t always fork out the London prices to sit in a pub all day drinking and eating.
Cinema’s, huh, they’re all the same. We’ll they are if your chosen cinema is a common or garden Vue or Odeon. On the other hand, if you go to the Electric Cinema in Notting Hill then no matter how good or bad the film is you’re still going to walk away with a win.
The summer is here, its official and you can’t beat London in the sun! It’s also a great time to be single. Why? Beer gardens, parks and heaths, shorts and pina colada’s.
It’s that time of year again when tennis becomes the number 1 sport in the world. You guessed it, Wimbledon!
We’re back with another Netflix and Chill but this time we’re going to be taking a closer look at the sci-fi genre. Now I’m a huge fan of sci-fi and what’s not to love. It really does take you somewhere else and takes suspending belief to a whole new level.
For some people, the art of conversation is second nature. They have the gift of the gab, a silver tongue and could talk their way out of almost any situation.
